About Platinum Outdoor Concepts

Platinum Outdoor Concepts is a locally owned outdoor living company based in Shawnee, Kansas, serving homeowners across the Kansas City metro. We design and build the parts of your property you actually live in — and we fix the drainage problems that threaten them.

Owner Dave Woodring handles design, sales, and estimating personally, so the person who plans your project is the person accountable for it. Our field crew handles the build, and Dave stays your point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final cleanup.

What we do:

• Drainage & grading — French drains, downspout rerouting, and yard re-grading that move water away from your home for good

• Outdoor & holiday lighting — landscape lighting and permanent, app-controlled holiday lighting

• Water features — waterfalls and naturalistic water features built to fit your yard

• Retaining walls & hardscapes — walls, patios, and stonework built to last

• Landscaping — design, installation, and seasonal cleanups

• Snow & ice management — winter service for homes and HOA communities in Shawnee and Lenexa

One thing we don't do: routine lawn mowing. We'd rather focus on the projects that transform a property — and when you need a mowing company, we'll happily point you to a good one.

Our customers say it better than we can — we're rated 4.7 stars across 150+ Google reviews, and most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients.
